"Chloe Hennessee is a remarkable young artist. The beauty of the sounds and songs she makes combined with a lack of guile in her presentation make for a unique thing indeed. So welcome in our times. I look forward to all her music to come."

Chloe Hennessee is an award winning singer-songwriter from New York City. In the fall of 2017, Chloe won the NYC Teen Songwriting Contest sponsored by Guitar Mash and the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. She then performed her winning song, "Awake," at City Winery NYC - backed up by Mark Stewart (Paul Simon's Music Director) and the incredible Guitar Mash House Band. In the spring of 2018, Chloe also won the Teen Division of the New England Songwriting Competition sponsored by Eventide Theatre Co. and performed at the Finalist Showcase in Cape Cod, MA. In early 2018, Chloe recorded, “Awake,” at Power Station Berklee NYC. Then in the fall of that same year, she recorded a 7-song album of original music titled, "Ups & Downs." It was produced by Wayne Silver and recorded at The Ice Plant Studio in Long Island City, NY. "Ups & Downs" was released in March, 2019.
Chloe is currently in the process of arranging and recording 8 new singles that are being released - roughly one per month - between February and October of 2020 (COVID-19 has understandably slowed down the entire process).

Chloe is thrilled to be one of the youngest artists for both Martin Guitars and Ohana Ukuleles and is entering her second year as one of the three Teen Co-chairs of Guitar Mash!

Chloe began writing poetry as a small child. Once she picked up a guitar at the age of 7, she quickly began transforming her poetry into songs. In 2013 (when she was 11), she recorded an EP, which consists of original songs written between the ages of 8 and 11. This debut EP was recorded in the home studio of musician and songwriter, Colin McGrath.
