Chloe Hennessee is an award winning singer-songwriter from New York City. In the fall of 2017, Chloe won the NYC Teen Songwriting Contest sponsored by Guitar Mash & the Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment. She then performed her winning song, "Awake," at City Winery NYC - backed up by Mark Stewart (Paul Simon) & the incredible Guitar Mash House Band. In the spring of 2018, Chloe won the Teen Division of the New England Songwriting Competition sponsored by Eventide Theatre Company & performed at the Finalist Showcase in Cape Cod, MA.
In 2013, Chloe recorded her first EP, "I'll Be Alright," which consists of original songs written between the ages of 8 & 11. In January of 2018, Chloe recorded "Awake" at Power Station Berklee NYC as part of her prize package. On the heels of this, her second album, "Ups & Downs," was recorded later that year & released in March of 2019. It contains 7 originals including a new arrangement of the award winning song, "Awake."
In early 2020, Chloe embarked on a new & ambitious project. With her producer, Wayne Silver of The Ice Plant studio, Chloe is working on special arrangements of 8 new original songs. They are being released in a "drip content" fashion - one per month between February & October of 2020.
